You can wire them up, but its going to be alot of work. You're going to need all the switches and relays to get them to work. You could just get them and leave them manual.

I think I'll do that, thx.

I've got a lot planned for tomorrow:

1.) Wake up, get all my materials together (sand paper, soldering iron, shrink tubing, etC)
2.) Drive into town and pick up paint and clear coat
3.) Go to friends house and begin disassembly of bumper/valence and door handles
4.) Paint all the above and reinstall

Then:

5.) Remove stock Ford Left Front + Right Front speakers and replace with the pair of 2x 350W Kenwood KFC-6903ie speakers (they were free )

6.) Post pics for all to see!!!!

Can't wait.

Calm down. After waiting for the "paint guy" to return from lunch, I picked up a qt. of YZ Oxford White and a qt. of CC. Unfortunately, I'm at my friends house and his dad (whos doing the actual painting process) wont get home until 6 pm EST. So expect pics later on tonight or tomorrow morning. By noon she will be all done.

For now, I'm going to go clean my TB and install some new speakers I got. I did the zip tie mod last night and I like the way my throttle dosen't have any more slack.

go under your dash, take your gas peddle, pull it up so that you can pull the slack out of the cable. put zip ties on the cable so that when u let go of the peddle all the slack is gone.

Not at all. Just takes up slack in the throttle cable and ensures that you are actually WOT when your foot is to the floor.

instead of your foot being on the floor and still having an 1" or 2" of cable to be pulled? i gotcha. well i might have to check this out...do you just loop it and tie wrap it??

i plan on cleaning the TB this weekend though, along with wash/detailing it. might throw this into the list as well. does it help throttle response alot? im guessing so...

YA! I use 2 lead weights from my tackel box and crimped them on there instead of zip ties. I was finishing my TB cleaning when my friend came home and I let him drive it and he had a expression on his face. no slack in the throttle, its real tight and responsive now. I LOVE it!

sorry bigred, i thought this was a homemdae way to mess up a truck but it was easier than i thought and a lot better too!

Update: we were going to paint last night but turns out i need hardner. so today I went into town and got some hardner. so now tonight when my friends dad gets home we're going to to the painting.

I was able to take off the tailgate handle and sand it down with 800 grit, its smooth now, but I'm going to have to mask off the whole side of the truck cause theres no way in heck those main door handles are coming off. but they're going to look good! cant wait!
