Talking Need some Iders...

Hey Guys and ladies...

I've got an 06 Flare Side F-150 FX4 Silver with Charcoal rockers and bumpers rolling on stock 20 inch wheels and tires...

So far I've added a K&N Filter, AIRAID Modular Intake Tube, Dumped the factory exhaust, 15% tint on front to match factory rear tint. Also done a bit of audio work, Alpine HU and speakers JL stealth box and amps, Viper alarm remote start etc...

Well it's reaching that point where my truck will be out of warranty and I'm ready to start doing more. Plans for a 2.5 inch AS spacer and 3 inch block, Keeping factory 20's and running 35 or 33 Not sure which way to go with the tire size??

Also want to start change the look a little bit... This is where I NEED YOUR HELP. I'm at a loss Please show me some pics and help me with some ideas.

Oh yeah... I just ordered a Billet grill and bumper combo kit...

And would love to know where IO could get some tinted head fog and tail lamps...

THANKS A BUNCH!!

For tinted headlights, I'm thinking you mean the housing... not the lens tinted, correct?

If so, your looking for either FX2 (gray), HD (black), or Hella (black) housings. Ford products are going to cost you, the Hellas you can find for around 200$ shipped, and in my opinion a really good alternative to the Ford parts. Theres also a method of doing it yourself for little money, but involves baking the housing to have the sealant let go so you can get in and paint it. There is a good amount of threads about it if you search.

If you go with the Hellas you'll have a really good setup for HID's.

As for tailights.. Harley tails can be found new for pretty cheap. They are tinted and look good. Again, it can be done yourself for little money with a can of Niteshades.

Fogs... don't have much of a suggestion on them... one member painted the housing with Niteshades but I don't remember if he liked the results or not, reason being the fog housing is entirely reflective.

you can paint the back of the headlights.

You can use VHT Niteshades to paint the tail lights

It only cost me about $30 dollars and about 5 hours of my time.

I do like that look! But I'm talking about the clear housing over the refectors.
I had found a set of smoked tails on ebay should have bought em then. But as far as the headlights go I'm looking for smoked housing like the ones you could get for the fox body mustangs 87 - 93

That or even if I could get rid of that amber refector for a cleaner look!
Not so good with baking cookies let alone my headlights So I'm trying to stay away from that.

Another ? i have seen some of you guys black out your badges! Love it

How do you think it would look if I black them out and got the Charcoal inlays from patriot... Would they stand out or should I go with silver??

Thanks again... I hate asking to many ?'s
But I guess thats what this form is for!!

I'm going with the Charcoil Grey inlay when i get a chance to paint my decals and then I will order my new FX4 decals and get they in the same color as the emblems. I think they will look really good.

OP - upload them to photobucket or make a gallery here. copy the [img] your picture name [/img] link and put it in your thread. Or, if you have a direct internet link, you can either post the link or put the [img] tags around the link to post the pic
