I have projector headlights i got off of ebay and on the front of the lens, it says H13 so I bought an H13 HID kit from DDM thinking it would fit but it doesn't...kinda confused on why its not fitting...anyone else run into this problem...here are the headlights I had on already: http://www.octanemotorsports.com/Lig...tml#googlebase
Ohhhhh my bad...yea I got them in there, Im dumb and kept trying to screw them in on an angle...both bulbs were already defected so I have to send them back to DDM tuning so I have to wait another 2 weeks...and is the glare worse than the regular housing?
I bought the H13 hid kit, then went and bought the projectors that use a D2S bulb. So I bought the bulbs and D2S adapter for the H13 kit. The projectors lift the cutoff with a electromagnet when the high beams are turned on. Here's a good write up I followed by Thomas_W for your year of truck.

that is why they will work with the stock housings, not great, but they will work. They will still give off glare to the front as HID's are not meant for reflector type housings. The all around best thing is a true retro-fit with projectors, although that can get expensive. If you want to keep the housings you have I would get a pair of silverstars for them. If you want to go with HID you should put the OEM (or HELLA) housings and aim them down. Just my .02
