you wont need to. they plug right into the stock harness

I heard some guys complaining about the pins not fitting and having to hard-wire?

No, they don't but they are generic pins. Just cut them off. Unless you want to try to make them fit.

i havent heard anyone having that problem with the 9007s. mine came with a blue adapter that had holes big enough for the prongs
