I did it! I love them! I made a how-to and published it to my site. See it all here!

Would this be done the same way for the old body style?

I don't know if this will work for the earlier models or not. Someone with one of those who has done this will have to chime in.

That rubber piece is an extra. I had those on my old HID's and cut them off.

ebay Nite shades (or is it one word...) or go to Orilley's Auto store and have them order some.

BTW, great write-up.

If you check ebay, thay have tint film to go over the taillights. I had it for a while but opted for painted tint because it looks so much better.

Aiming, good question. I updated the how to with aiming instructions. Thanks! I also added a picture of the HID kits out of the box.

That is true. If your mechanically inclined at all, its a piece of cake. It took me about 2 hours and that is with making the how too. Just take your time and as long as you have a meter and can find hot from ground and you seal all your connections (if its not a plug and play kit) then your good to go.

Not only that, but us pre-04 guys dont' have HIDs in the fog lights, so all we need to install is the heads. I might splice mine in if they pose a connection problem. We'll see later on.
