Should I do white overlays?

I was thinking about going to patriotdecals.com and getting White/Chrome overlays to match my truck but I kinda like the blue on my front and rear. What do you guys think? Keep it blue or go white? I'm kinda indecisive here and was wondering what the public would think about it.

Well I'm talking a simple $15 mod here and your talking $200+. Big mods for me:

Pay off trannie ($350)
Get HIDs ($100)
PTM bumper ($250)

in that order. I still have to find a paint/body shop, take off bumper without messing up my PA or lower valence grille, etc. It will be soon tho. By July my truck should be all "done"

ZigZag I think you just made my mind up. That looks sa-weet plus I don't have the raised lettering on my 98 so I don't have to worry. What exactly are they? Water decals/stickers kinda deal? I may have to get a new Ford emblem for my tailgate thought because its got mini-crakcs behind the plastic but its not noticeable unless you stare at it.

I got mine a few weeks ago and I love them. All they are is a sticker that is applied over your original. I like them because they are inexpensive and really look nice. One of those mods that stick out to the enthusiast or not. Mine get attention all over. I see people giving it a second look all the time. PD sends detailed instructions so it makes it easy. Looking at a few other things from them, they are really great people!

Yeah I was thinking of getting maybe $40-$50 and getting 2 white ford overlays and 3 sets of the white lettering for the F-150 badges since I have to new body style's badges on my truck.

I was looking into new badges for my grille and tailgate.
What's the deal with overlays (are they covers to place over existing badges?)
If that's the case do they stay on? what are the pros and cons?
Also, the silver badge placed in this thread is sweet.

Nice looking truck Screw-Me, but I've always been a sucker for silver on white. Great look!

If you've gone this far though (and if I were you), I'd find some headlight housings that had clear running light lenses. Then, I'd put in amber LEDs to make them legal. And, I'd use Stealth bulbs for the turn signals. I think yours are the Sylvania bulbs? They sort of give the light housing a pearlish tint.

But, I'm nit-picking, right? (And hijacking the thread.) :o

Im thinking of going with some true harley heads and stealth bulbs. Im not sure how it will look with the black heads and chrome everything else?

Since I'm not really up on the "lingo", I'm just guessing here that you are talking about "blacked out" headlight backgrounds.

You have a chrome grill. You have a chrome bumper valence. Chrome door handles. Why confuse things with "blacked out" headlights? I'd stick with chrome heads.

I really like your "clean" white-chrome look. Anyone else out there agree with me?

BTW, I put stealth bulbs in my turn signals and I like the result. Now, I just have to convince myself I can afford to replace the whole headlight assembly to get rid of the orange running light lenses. I decided a while back that blackened headlights would not look so good on my truck - but I hate that "orange".

But, it's just my opinion and it's your truck!

I hate the stock Ford headlights on mine. I'm doing what Screw-Me 05 is doing and going for white/chrome. I ordered some chrome headlights and soon I'm going to PTM my handles and front bumper white. Along with those white overlays, of course

Bump.

I ordered the front and rear white/chrome overlays for my Blue Ovals.

Can't wait for them to get there, Screw-Me-05's pics made me get them
