Sorry, I just couldn't resist! :o Glad you wern't offended.

One of these days, I'd like to see a mod like yours in person. The pictures don't really do it for me.

I saw some "blacked out" headlight modules on a Ford yesterday, and, with the color of the truck (which I don't remember - senior moment), I think they should have left them silver. On mine, I've decided the silver is the better color. Now if I had a black truck .....

Oh, that makes me the third person on this site to do it!

BTW, Alex, here's your pic. Not much, but I soldered the wire onto the screw and drilled that baby in as far as it will go. Basically any place on your frame is good for grounding.

They were $10 and outdid the silverstars I had, but why get Hella's? They will be useless the 4300K HID's outshine any halogen fog/driving light, it would be useless, save the money you would spend on halogens and buy some real lights

I went over to Wally-World and thought of a cool light change for my truck. I'm going to get some Silverstar H3-ST bulbs for my Hella 2020's and move them behind my lower valence grille and pick up a set of Hella 500FF's and also put Silverstar H3-ST's in them and moount those where my 2020's are right now. I think those with new headlights should yield some significant power for Halogens

You can spend hella money(had too) on halogens and light your truck up like a christmas tree, but save it, buy a set of HID's and be done with it. If you like looking like a rolling jcwhitney tribute than great, but by REAL lights and be done.
