Post Roof Light Progress Project

Stock roof lights (yellow)

mine had a black ring around the bottom though



my cab lights after smoking them!

smoking the lights was super easy and now plan to do my tails!

For the record no progress was made today! it rained until i had to go to work and for alittle while after that i will attempt to do the tommorrow!

Wow, will any light even get through those? Look pretty much black to me.

It might be the extra detail because of the flash, but I can see fingerprints on some of the lights. Maybe a slight wet sand followed by a clearcoat is in order.

ok i just got them all hooked up and the light still shines thought amazingly! they were really dark and i only used two coats, and the figer prints are gone...haha i noticed that in the pics so back outside i went and did another wet sand and clear...which gave me 3!

hey man what LED's will fit into these?

it says replacement bult/lens: A-67

how can you tell which one to get! and will they plug right in also will it be brighter? i havent seen the lights at night yet but figure they wll be pretty dim!

sorry im a noob in LED's

ummmm maybe causei like the look of clearence lights at night... hm i dont know but if we are gonna ride bash then you can get lost!

The headlight dimmed out the outside two lights they are actually just as bright as the 3 middle ones!
