telescopic towing mirrors

on the 08 f150's theyve been given the option of the new towing mirrors that look like a smaller version of the new super duty mirrors. A local dealer quoted me $350 for the kit to change my 05 power mirrors out for these telescoping tow mirrors. anyone who has these new mirror please reply possibly with pics, and does $350 sound reasonable?

My buddy at Ford said his price is 285 for both. Manual though. I wanna get them but I don't tow much wide enough to constitute the money.

I saw these on an F150 about a month ago and thought they looked great. I tried to track down the truck but it got away. I did not realize they were factory mirrors, I will have to stop by the local dealer and see what they say.

i add them and the ones the OP is talking about will convert the standard mirrors to the old version tow mirrors. the new ones are high. i got mine for $240 a piece, but i love them and worth every penny to me. it puts the big mirror at almost eye level. do a search and you will find the part numbers i posted and bought.

labman, did your stock mirrors have turn signals on them too? cause mine dont and i just got the tow mirrors like yours b/c you cant get them w/o turn signals. i noticed theres only 1 plug on the side of the mirror, do you think the turn signals will work on the new mirrors?
