Vertical Grille

I was wondering if anyone on here with the 97-03 body style had a vertical grille? I was looking at this grille: http://www.k2motor.com/hgf15099cvt.html But I'm not sure if it would look good or not and if it would be too much chrome or would it match nicely with chrome wheels, and chrome nerf bars. I don't want too much chrome. I wish the part that goes around the lights and the top and bottom of the grille was the same color as my truck.

That price is too high for a plastic grille. Try to get aluminum. They shine better and you can find them even cheaper than that one you have there. Personally I don't like vertical grilles, but thats just my opinion.

You could always have the surround painted. Shouldn't cost ya too much.

Ya thats just the website I actually first saw that grille on e-bay for like $160 with shipping. I would rather have an aluminum one but i can't find a verticle grille like that one that I like. I like the big fat vertical bars opposed to the skinny bars. Does anyone know where i can find the style of vertical grille that I am talking about?

Ya that grille is deffinatly money! I like it a lot more that the one I posted about but I can't find memo's gallery to see if he has it posted what kind it is.

What I want is like a mark lt stlye vertical grille but I have teh 97-03 body style so I don't know where to find that style of grille at. Everywhere I look its like a billet vertical grille and that not what I want.

Is this what you are talking about: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...spagenameZWDVW I want instead of chrome outlining my grille, I want to be the same color red as my truck. How much do you think a body shop would charge to paint over the chrome so it looks like that truck above except red and not black>

I would imagine close to $200. paint and supplies are going to bea round a hundred and body shops like to rape people on the labor. I could do it for around $100 with just supplies...(adhesion promoter if its plastic, primer, base, clear, reducer) it wouldn't be very hard
