if you wanna spend some money. get some H.I.D.s but if cash is a problem. then id go with some Silverstar Ultras. they are really bright, and are only like $50

No the money doesn't matter. What is the difference in digital and non digital? Feel free to post pictures and let me know what you have.

I'm just a bit miffed as to the whole "digital vs. non-digital" thing, but I can talk about lighting. The first question you want to be able to answer is, "Do you want a blue tint to your headlights and / or do you actually want better lighting?" There are numerous replacement bulbs out there that will give you a blue tint. A few of them actually give you better vision. Many others are just blue and actually reduce the amount of usable light on the road.

For replacement bulbs, PIAA makes some pretty decent ones with a blue tint, but they're mondo expensive. Sylvania makes a bulb called a Silverstar Ultra that's got a blue tint and actually works pretty well - for a more reasonable amount of money.

If you really want effective lighting with a blue tint, HIDs are the only way to fly. Like most everything though, you get what you pay for. Avoid the cheap HID kits. They'll be blue all right, but they have all sorts of other problems.

Stick with the silverstars or at least a halogen bulb. The HID kits cause glare and blind oncoming traffic. Yes, they may apear brighter too you but they are unsafe...

If you want to learn all about upgrading to HID the right way (which involves alot more than just a kit) please do some reading at the following web site..

If you can't do it right don't

if you have projector headlights or 04-07 model truck you wont have to worry about glare

Cool Sylvania Silverstars the 2004 and newer F150's

What is the latest from Sylvania? Are we going to be able to buy the 9008's, H13's?

I put H.I.Ds on my truck with my new headlights, and all I gotta say is they are SICK. alot of people ask me where i got them from and I just bought them off a bid on ebay. 90$ shipped. I know silver stars are only 50$ but if your willing to spend 40$ more you can probably grab a set for only around 90$

I did do research before I bought mine so make sure there legit before making the purchase.
