Question Truxedo Lo Pro Questions

I am looking to get a soft tonneau cover for my 2000 F150 4x4. I've heard some good things about the Truxedo Lo Profile, and it seems right for me.

Any opinions? Pics? How easy is it to install? How are they in hot/cold (they don't have snaps right?). I found this one on E-bay, and it seems like a reputable dealer. Advice would be appreciated.

That looks to be a pretty good price. Check the shipping charges at the bottom of the page first, sometimes ebay sellers can get shady with inflated shipping costs. Other than that, as a Lo Pro owner, I love it. I got mine from http://www.truckalterations.com and I couldn't be happier. Shipping was fast and the install was very easy. I meant to snap some photos of the process, but honestly it felt like I was done before I got started. Check out the pics in my gallery to see some before and after photos.

No snaps, it's secured entirely by strong velrco down the rail attachments. After you install you can also adjust the tension by a screw towards the front of the bed. Check the instructions for the location. Mine is nice and tight, you can bounce a quarter off the thing. Rolling it up is a simple one man process as well. And two loops at the cab end of the bed secures the cover nicely.

And no leaks, it's tight as a drum, and along with the bedrug the rear of my truck is more comfy than my living room. It's all secured by a latch at the end of the bed, which is in turn secured by locking your tailgate. Granted the security offered by a soft cover can be easily circumvented by a sharp instrument, but it does much to keep the opportunists away.

If you're looking for a soft roll-up cover, I give the Truxedo Lo Profile high marks.

Hope this helps.

I've got a Lo Pro and love it! Install took less than 30 minutes! Nice tight seal. I've had no leaks problems. You are correct, there are no snaps. It's velcro on the rails. It stays nice and tight. It's easy to roll up.

If you want to get one, I would suggest go to:

www.truckalterations.com

They have THE best price around. Don't go by the price listed on the site, you actually have to add the cover to your shopping cart and then you'll see the actual price. Hope this helps!

Thanks guys, I'll be checking out that site soon. The shipping to my house for the one on E-bay would be $47, so $347 shipped to my door. Does that sound fair?

Sounds good to me. I think truckalterations is about the same. I forgot to mention that as well, you do have to add it to your cart to get the real price. Good luck.

I'm trying to compar the Truck Alterations and E-bay price, but I can't find the shipping charges on TA. How do I see them, or can someone tell me what the shipping would be to 21087 (Kingsville, MD)?

I love mine. Got it here: VEHICLEFX.COM

I don't use mine to secure anything expensive or anything that I would worry about getting a splash of water on...though I have not had any water problems at all with mine. I love it. All around, it really is worth it. Cleans easy and is easy to adjust...the velcro is as good today as it was when I bought it...Check out the pics in my gallery.

If you get it from Truckalterations.com, the shipping is already included in the price!

How easy is the Lo Pro to install? I read the online instructions and they sound a bit confusing. How many parts will I be getting when it's delivered?
