Grill insert's or replacement?

Does the grill overlay inserts work well and last or is it best just to go with a replacement?
Thanks

My opinion is that grille inserts are cheap and look cheesey. I went with a 120 wire mesh grille w/bumper grille made by Precision. I believe that "www.stylinconcepts.com" carries this grille. I haven't figured out how to post a photo here, or I'd send you one. I do have a gallery you can view.

overlays suck, they still show the stock honeycomb behind it, get a replacement grill!

I don't think overlays look particularly cheesy... To each their own. I wanted something different that I don't see around very much. I think it turned out pretty well....

Do you have any pics with the new grill in? or is that it & you used to have a black honeycomb?

Never really liked the overlay grilles. I put one on my Wife's Expedition and it looked like crap. It is a little more work to install a replacement grille, but I think it is well worth the effort.

I had the original Blue with black honeycomb insert before I changed it out for the one in my gallery "All Ceome".
