I spent a few hours today cleaning my tan cloth interior and this made me want to get leather interior. This is something that I had been thinking about for awhile now but I think today just pushed me over the edge. We upgraded my wifes car with leather interior for around $900. She got real leather upholstery and I am thinking of going with the leather like or faux leather interior. Does anyone know what a reasonable price would be for that? 05 XLT SCrew.

 

Have you checked with Kat sninz or do you want OEM? I would like to do the same thing in OEM.!

 

You can get coverking leatherette seat covers for $400 shipped for front and back, I ordered mine on Friday.
The look like leather but are more durable and wont crack and fade like leather.

I got free shipping, the ones I am looking at are two tone and match the interior on my truck perfectly.

Real leather you are looking at about $1200 installed.

 

Do they look like seta covers or OEM?

I looked at leather seats on the net, after the cost of having them pro. installed I decided I could have custom leather seats done for about the same cost. Man I glad I did. I had black seats with red inserts installed and they look freakin sick. I had the installer stich FX4 at the top of the seat below the headrest, looks just like the decal on the side of the truck. When I took it into the dealorship for a oil change the mech. said this was the first time he had seen this appearance pkg.

I havent been able to load my album in the gallery. It took a cover pix but wont take album pix for some reason. Best of luck on which ever way you go.

Katskin or real leather is going to be about $1200 is what my friend was quoted who has the same truck as me

 

I'm going pro. installation all the way. What I was wondering is what the difference in price would be for leather-lilke vs. leather. We had leather added to my wifes car straight off the lot for $900. I was wondering what a fair price would be for custom seats made from a leatherlike material instead of leather. Anyone have an idea on what the price would be like?

 

I Katskinz are about $300 cheaper in leatherette than leather.

Leatherette =5xx
Leather=8xx

I've heard better things from Katskinz, a buddy of mine with a Sport Trac had it done and it looks sweet!

 

Mine are going back, some of the material was stretched out adn the holes for the headrest to attach to the seat was about 2" off, they are giving me a refund.

 

That sucks. Did you order from Katskins or another company?

 

I think he went with the cheap seat covers. All the Kaskins stuff I have seen ROCKS!
