Need advice on line of fire brake light

I've been searching around the web for a line of fire brake light. Has anyone bought one off of E-Bay, if so, what was the seller's name? Many of the seller's claim they have the brightest LED's. Mosat of the e-bay sellers are getting rid of these much cheaper than if you would buy from a regular catalog, website etc.....That lead me to belive that they are knock-off's and will not offer much quality I don't want to get stuck w/ a knock-off unit that I'm not happy with. Any advice form anyone that bought one off of E-bay would be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't exactly know what light your talkin' about but I got an LED 03/04 Lightning 3rd brake light from Blue oval industries, their store name is just that with no spaces. I could not be any happier with how they handled everything. It was one of the cheapest prices, and was shipped super fast with a tracking # link attached to an email they send you. Excellent everything from them. The light itself may be something to check out, it's pretty bright and during the day is knida low key instead of a big red plastic piece. Just another option.

Actually, there is a similar thread just after this one about an 04 light I believe. Jump on that maybe.

When on Ebay, either type that in for the store search or type in lightning brake light or lightning CHMSL. They usually always have at least one auction of buy it now going, mostly mustang I know. If you located them, call and order one. Like I said earlier, I would have bought 20 if I could just how smooth everything went, highly recommend them. Keep an eye open in case they are between postings, but again call and they'll have em. I love mine.

If your going to get one, make sure you get the new style with the reverse lights.

In my opinion, E-bay can save you some serious $$$. I dont think your going to save much on this product though. Maybe $40??? If it were me, I would skip E-bay on this one and just by the real deal.

I have seen some cheap knock offs and alot of them dont get very bright. The ones I bought from this company glow red on the road behind me. They are still clear and all the LED's are working just fine after almost 2 years.

If your looking for info on LED 3rd brake lights, Theres a thread here https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=216240

Im pretty sure that isnt what you were talking about though.....

Thanks PODUNK - I wasn't aware of the new style w/ the reverse lights. One quick question......I'm assuming that since these work as right and left turn signals, that they wil also act as hazards. Is this correct????
