Got them in today. I'll hopefully get them on tomorrow, key word hopefully.

Scott, I got the outline for the hood scoop today also. That thing is bigger than I thought.

Did you get those Springtech ones?

Also, if you wouldnt mind, could you possibly take a measurement from the fender lip to the ground or somting before and after you put them on to see exactley how much of a drop you get?

Im wanting shackles but I can only find 2 inch drop ones (4 is probably to much for me and I dont want hangars) and they say 2 incher ones will only drop it around an inch or so.

Thanks Joe

Yes, those were the ones I got. There's a hidden link where you can get them for $30, instead of the regular $41. Just let me know if you want the link, and I'll be sure to take some measurements. It'll probably me MONDAY when I get to install them(busy weekend). I'll let you know how it goes. If you want pics of the shackles just let me know, and I'll snap a few.

Hey, speaking of coils, are they kind of like the shackles where they dont lower the truck as much as the springs are cut. Like does a 2 inch spring lower it 2 inches?

Joe, glad ya got it. Sorry bout hte delay but I have been busier than crap with my deck biz. That does look big on paper, also looks bigger on the truck then it does on the mustangs, but I like that because it doest make it look like just a mustang transplant.

If ya get the scoop, make sure to double check the pattern on there first, also get 2 more clips like what is supplied with it. The to back screws will probabaly have to be cut to that length, I could not find any short enough to work without cutting them. Also Joe, I found that you wont need to use the big round clip for the locating pin, actually if you dont it allows for easier removal for cleaning time to time.

Sled...

Joe, Just read the post over in other body forum bout the droppin my *** thing. I would love to drop this truck but I do a lot of heavy hauling and need all the spring clearance I can get. Hell I been looking at load springs to add. I haul a skid steer quite a bit and literally tons of lumber on a tandam trailer. I have already had the mud flaps draggin the blacktop twice. Tell ya though, its hard to tell with this 5.4... I have people ask me why I use this nice truck to haul. I just tell the the answers in the question, its a truck.

The only thing my truck hauls around is my skinny white ***. Here's some pics of the shackles...

Joe

Do you usually lay parts out on your bed before install or are you trying to show off that matching sheet set.

A little of both. Actually in the photos, my pillow cases are from my other set for those two. My matching ones are out of the photo. Oh well.

Anyway, thanks for the link Joe.

Which holes are you going to use? Is one set like stock heigth, or do they both lower it alittle?
