I just bought a set of Green Underbody Neons from circuit city..and i have a 97 f150 extended cab...im wondering where all you guys that have these mount yours?? i can install them and everything just not sure where to mount them really in the front and back...if anyone could help me out...thanks!!

Hey whats up? I have white neons for my green 150, and they look sweet. I'll get out there tomorrow and show you exactly where I mounted mine. From the rear you can see the side ones, so you might want to find a different place, but I havn't been stopped by cops, and they've passed me numorus times. One thing I would do, get a 3rd side one for the middle of the truck. When mine are on, the center area is dark, probably because of where I mounted them, but hey oh well.

i mounted my blue neons on my 00 f150 under the doors around the little lip so u cant see the bulb, the front one is up by the spare tire it looks really cool cuz it shines on the ground and out the gap between bumper nad tailgate and around liscence plate, the front one is far back so of around the axle it looks good coming through the bottom bumper grill thing. i have pictures but i dont know how to post them.

 

There should be a sticky in the General Discussion forum about posting pictures. It's very detailed with step-by-step instructions.

 

well i got them installed today!!! took about 1.5 hrs. on a rack too...the hardest part was finding somewhere to mount them, once there mounted its easy just connecting wires and your done...i will have the pics tonite!!!

 

crappy pics because its raining and cold outside...but i still got some!!

and you CANT see my tubes eaither!!!

 

yeah I'm definately glad I went with white. I might get some tonight when I get home.
