Out with the old, in with the new ....

Just sold the Lincoln truck and picked up a new project ") Getting dropped with a 3/5 DJM kit, 22" Verde's, having fabricator do custom heat extractor on hood, wet sanding factory clear then adding allot of pearl to entire truck . Leaning towards Wagner intercooler, Cavalli turbos, down pipe, and MPT tune. Some of you may remember me by my Procharged FX2 build or Harley build ")

I did Sold it last year after dealing with health issues and tried to drive something sensible but got bored and itching to try something new . Got the 3.5 ecoboost with 3.73s. I'm so impressed with these trucks so far !

Thankyou ! I honestly don't know. .. I've always felt that anything over 500 hp is a challenge putting it to the ground. I don't know much about the ecoboost but reading that the fuel supply is the biggest obstacle on higher hp levels. I'm thinking no more than 520 hp but want to keep it efficient and conservative to a extent.

Sorry to hear about the health issues man. Hope all is well now.

It's awesome how much more nimble these trucks feel over the previous generation and even the 97-03s. I went from an 03 4.6 to my 15 5.0, and the 15 is much easier to drive, on top of being faster. feels almost like a sport truck with the decreased weight. and I'm even 4x4. lol

Thank you ! I learned the hard way not to take your health for granted. . I was involved in a very bad accident and lost most of my mobility in my hand and wrist and 2 fingers due to multiple bone fusions and multiple surgeries. ..Had to give up many things , including working with air tools but accepted it and now taking baby steps to help with my passion of building cars...

You were spot on about these new trucks. They have come a long way over the years and so impressed with the power and drivable ty ! I actually work at the Ford truck plant in Kansas City for over 20 years and to hear about where the trucks are heading in the next few years is even more exciting !

I am curious to see the build.

I never did my old diesel truck up the way I wanted since it was my work truck. Maybe I could do this one. I have the F250 as a back up and at 4000 miles on the 150 kinda getting the itch.

Thank you So much

I actually don't know exactly but assumed it was Grabber blue. I can tell you this truck was not a color used in production and have heard from reliable source that the ecoboost 5.0 is definitely in the talks. .. I know you see that online from sites but often not backed up from Ford. Hearing 3.0 diesel may be coming aswell , not the 2.7 that Ford is running in the Transit !

I was more interested in the turbo aspect than fuel.

Also glad to hear you are doing well go-on.
