Hahahaha. I have had both engines and they are both awesome, just different ways of making power. I wouldn't hesitate to have either. I am more of a 5.0 fanboy though

OP - Glad you are back building. So the grabber blue is yours? I am going to have to subscribe. Assuming this is your build thread? Glad you are back on the mend and hopefully you remain healthy!

Thanks for all the kind words and great wishes ! Always appreciated the people on this forum, so many great members here The blue truck isn't mine but was a truck being built at Ford plant. I'm making a little progress on my build. Keeping the fx wheels for winter, etc. ..Wish I could let the cat out of bag about the hood project but definitely excited to do something different and for once, not using a Shelby vent lol. ..

Maybe a silly question, but what will the pearl paint do?

Beautiful truck 99and04f150 !!!

The pearl will either be loved or hated...I'm trying to do things a little different with this build. Taking a huge risk with the hood and grill fabrication but figured I'd put my fab guy up to a challenge with hopes of it turning out the way I'm visioning it .

Going to be interesting to see as they are coming a long way with the 3.5 ecoboost and the 5.0's. I'll admit it, I said for years I'd never have a ecoboost and was impressed with making 700 hp on a 5.0 without lifting a valve cover but I'm eating those words now ")
