After 8 years and more than 270000 Km, I have ordered a new F150.

XLT, 5.0, 10 Speed, 3.55, Magnetic, 302A, Appearance Package. Now the wait begins...I'm guessing about 8 weeks.

Update: Feb 5 18 - Now on custom order tracking site, "In Order Processing". Ordered: 01/30/18 Estimated delivery: 03/31/18

Update: Mar 9 18 - “Pending shipment”. Sales person sent me an email saying they were expecting truck at the dealership by Mar 30. Starting to get excited.

Even taking into account Xmas / New Year factory shut down that seems like a LONG time for a new build.

 

Well, his dealer sat on his order for a month.........

I thought they were sitting on the order until they gave me the Vin #. And i looked it up on the Ford tracking site it was ordered on 12/19 i was at the Dealership the Day before so it was ford holding up the Build ?

Congrats, I also have a Magnetic 5.0l on order. Ordered 1/23/18 with an estimated delivery date of 4/8/18.
Hoping the date will change once it goes into production.

Ford estimates delivery 3/17. Luck of the Irish.

 

I stopped trying to figure out there system it will not change anything. By the time i get my loaded KR in White gold stone gray accent all the salt will be off the roads here in the east LOL

Same here in MT. They put salt, sand and some chemical de-icer on the roads. Sometimes there's some gravel mixed in with the sand. My truck is due here on March 19th, which is just fine with me.

Good luck and hopefully you are now driving the new beast I gave my dealer a deposit for my new Lariat this week, so hopefully it will get ordered soon. I'm hoping by early June, not sure if that is too optimistic or not. My last truck (2015 Lariat) as also ordered in February and took about 8 weeks. This one is a little different because it's a crew cab with a 6.5' box.
