Help!! I am in desperate need to locate a Ford Air Outlet Duct. It is for a 2011 Ford F-150 3.5 L Ecoboost Everywhere i turn to it is backordered and this is my only ride. Part Number BL3Z-6F073-A
I live in Texas and now i am looking at junkyards and still now luck

I was at the junk yard today, and there was a 2012 EB 3.5l that had all it's intake hoses. Involved in a bad rear ender and the front end was in great shape, baring people like me taking stuff off without regard. I took some chrome lug nuts and the tow hooks for another project I'm working on (not on my truck).

But... that's not going to help you down in Texas.

I have tried these and they say they have it and when the check it is back ordered

 

I just Googled the zip and there appears to be a ton of Ford of dealers along the route from San Antonio headed up the I35 corridor to Austin.

What I would do is do what I did, and but get your phone out and start calling down the list until you get a dealer that has one.

When I search eBay for that part number I get:

No exact matches found

All they got are the newer style with the FL3Z-6F073-A.

Alas, the OP is going to have to do some calling around.

Also, from the sounds of it, they don't want to do shipping unless absolutely necessary. -- I've been there done that before on depended on vehicles/mission critical.

 

Ebay wants 180 bucks for it, and it's sold out.

Tasca says it's no longer available for purchase - if you don't have any luck calling all the dealers near you, you will probably have to start hitting junkyards or try to repair yours.

 

Yes i have call all the Ford parts companies and they all show it on backorder status.

 

I have already done that and they all show backorder status. I was hoping to find someone that has one by chance or could get a hold of one in a junk yard and i would send them the money.

Well all I found the part. I purchased at CV Fabrication. The original part was plastic but the make an aftermarket out of Aluminum.
