How do I tell what size fuel tank I have in my Ford F-150? Is it the 26 gal or the 36 gal?

Run it till the low fuel light comes on, then fill it up. That should give you an idea.

 

More betterer ... Run it to ½ tank and fill it up. If it takes ~13gal you have a 26gal fuel tank. If it takes ~18gal, it's a 36gal fuel tank.

Go here, Ford ETIS Start an account (it is free) and enter your VIN then click on the Minor Features + sign and it is about 3/4 of the way down. 36 Gallon tank comes up as Extended Range Single Fuel Tank.
