Nice truck, but I am a little biased. Did you get the sunroof and nav too, and did you get the tailgate step?

Glad to see you came over to the 'dark side' with the Egoboost!

I couldn't pull off an FX4, but I've got the same Egoboost as you!

Love it!

If you tow, you'll really love it!

Thankee, Mitch! Glad to hear yer still likin' the Egoboost. Takes some gettin' used to whut with goin' forward purty quick with very little throttle, all the dern quiet, etc.

I gotta learn to feather that throttle into boost a little better. Otherwise, I may need a neck brace.

Dont drive with the winders down, Listening to those turbos are addicting.

Nice truck man! I've been in the land of no internet for the last week so I'm late to the party, welcome to the lil' ole V6 truck club!

The lag is due to the ECM tuning and isn't really turbo lag. A tune will get rid of it but we all know Ford is watching for them so it's a big risk on a new truck. I waited until ~50,000 before getting one. I really wish auto makers would stop programing a delay into the throttle inputs.

I have yet to fully "mat" mine.. When I get stuck at those stupid hwy on ramp lights, I like to have a bit of fun and essentially "roll" into the throttle from the stop. Once going, I press down and it just takes off!

I'm up to 60 before I know it, and I still didn't put it to the floor either...

It's pulling so dang hard, I'm almost afraid to mat it!

Howdy, me ol' hirsute pal!

10-4 of the factory tune. I can remember the 5.0 having a similar "lag" (albeit, methinks not as pronounced), but having been tuned in the 5.0 fer a spell, I guess I had gotten used to the lag being gone.

Still, the EB feels like it's gonna be plenty stout in its stock form. For a while, at least....

Just as surely as I 'spected ol' aussie, Coy, and Wookie-Monster to reply with approval, I 'spected ol' Patrick to respond with something along these lines.

Actually, I figgered ol' 88 would beat you to it.

So far, it seems like the EcoBoost is far more "boost" than it is "eco".

Thanks, Pat! Got a good chuckle outta ye homo smilie ag'in!

Howdy, Mitch.

One of my favorite parts so far is just what you're talking about. Just a light "roll" into the throttle, and that baby GOES! No fuss, no muss, no racket (except fer the light whistle audible through the front wheel wells ), no high revving...just GO!

It's actually quite fun to watch the speedometer climb faster than the RPMs for a change.

The better question is which one DIDN'T I have!

Nah, it wasn't that many. I had 3 tunes from 5 star, and 3 from MPT through the SCT X4. My favorite, by far, was the "hybrid" tune MPT ended up working for me. It really was like driving a different truck.

I will keep that in mind, should I ever STS turbo my truck. A brand new truck will never probably happen, and I love my flareside, which you cannot get anymore.
