New 2013 STX

It has been an extremely long time since I have posted anything but I get on and read everyday. But for Christmas this year I got myself a new truck, 2013 STX 5.0 4x4 Supercab and I have a list of things I want to do to it but it will be a slow process due to limited funds. I came from a 2003 F150 reg cab 2wd V6 with no options pretty much so just having power locks and windows is an improvement. So far I am really happy with it I already drove 850 miles from home back to the base i'm stationed at in New Mexico, i'm currently in the Air Force, and the truck was a lot more comfortable and the power is drastically better from what i previously had so passing on the two lane highways was a breeze. The things I want to do are to Line-x bed and tint which are at the top of the list and then eventually, lift, wheels and tires, nfab or similar style side steps, raptor/harley head and tail lights or projector heads and led tails(undecided as of right now) and the basic 3 for performance, exhaust, intake, and tuner, i also want replacement bumpers front and back but not sure which route i want to go, I've always liked the pre-runner look but i also like the solid bumpers, it wont be happening any time soon so I have time to decide. Now onto the pictures:
First one is a couple days after i got it and it had been snowing and icy.

Second is today, been back in New mexico for a week, washed it last weekend as soon as i got back and this weekend it was 65 and sunny so decided to get my atv out.

Also I am open to any suggestions on other mods i may not have mentioned above.

Just called and got a quote to get my bed and tool box line-x and for the platinum they said $600 for the bed and $300 for the tool box, seems kind of high to me just wanted to see if that's a good price? The place is in El Paso, TX.

Unfortunately, that sounds about right. It's ridiculous how expensive it's become. I'd recommend selling your current tool box if it's aluminum, and just getting a new $300 black TSC one, unless it's a really nice one. Even re-powder coating a toolbox would be about the same cost, if not less. I think shiny black powder coat looks better than bed liner personally.

Love the new STX, but I may be partial. I saved myself about $500 using herculiner. Yes I realize it will never be as good as line-x but if you take your time you can do an excellent job. At the end of the day it is still an stx not a king ranch so it doesnt need to look perfect. the extra 500 goes a long way towards mods.

Thanks for the input, I looked into getting a new tool box already black but around where I'm at its kind of hard to find exactly what I want, found one on amazon a uws 55" wedged and notched for 415 that would fit how I want so I considered that one, right now I have a tractor supply. For the bed liner its self I'm wanting something that will last and good quality that's why I wanted line-x, which I will get 10% off so that will help some. Price isn't a huge issue though because I know its worth. The spray in liner the dealership has, it is pretty good? No cracking or fading?

Dealerships almost always use a local bedliner shop to do it, very few do their own in-house.

my dealership actually does it themselves. Bought truck, they drove it over to the body shop and they sprayed it and brought it back within an hour.

Huh, I don't think any down here that I've cared to ask/find out about do their own. My neighbor's shop does them for 3 or 4 dealers, and we send all of ours out as well, but we're a used dealer.
