No X plan on a Tremor, for at least some dealers. 05REDFX4 or KingRanchCoy tried talked to their dealer and said it wasn't available for em, IIRC.

I'm not trying to argue with you (didn't mean to at the start anyway), but the bottom line is that the price on these is stuck at 40k and I can walk into a dealer tomorrow and buy almost any FX4 for that much by the time I'm done and on my way home. Actual sale price and sticker are two entirely different things.

 

The problem with 05Red's example is he is comparing a 2013 leftover with all of the rebates to a 2014 which just came out and has little rebates, but the 2014 was still $1k less with little effort on getting the price down.

If he tried a little harder I bet he could get another $4k off making the same truck $5k less than a comparable SuperCrew or demanded xplan on an ordered truck.

 

Bottom line there is no real difference between a 13 and a 14 other than price, and the leftover 13 has everything I wanted right down to the color. And Rambo you are correct I can get x plan if I ordered one, or waited until they actually had one to sell, but since they don't have one yet and would have to trade with another dealer to get it they are offering no deals. Besides all the ones that have shown up, or are on order are black or gray, the two colors I don't want.

 

Im still waiting for one to show up here.. Im not as interested in the tremor as i was before the offical price was released, but a test drive MAY persuade me

See, they didn't even have one to sell yet.

The main difference is the Tremor doesn't exist in a 2013 and is only a 2014.

After a few of these 2014's start getting passed around people are going to stop talking about how bad of a deal the 2014's are. Everyone will start talking about the great 2014 deals they got. Then the next truck to be talked down will be the 2015 and how bad the deals are. It happens every time there is a new model or major change.

The only thing working against the Tremor right now is that it is RC and RC's are in limited supply on the lots. But wait awhile and this will work against them when they realize nobody wants a RC and the 2015 next gens are out.

 

I essentially said that in the other thread, that the '14s will have deals later/soon. But you're still trying to equate a Tremor to a "normal" truck, and for now, you can't really do that.

I hope people refuse to pay sticker for these Tremors, so that full rebates will apply, but I doubt it's gonna happen. Idiots will pay sticker. Also, dealers are much less likely to give you as good a deal on an ordered vehicle.

 

I got a loaded FX-4 (5.0, 402A package, plus moonroof and navigation) for about that price too. I figure that it should be easier to find a buyer for a supercrew than a regular cab if I decided to sell.

No 5.0 in the Tremor, so it has the go, but sounds like

 

Depends what sound you like, I don't mind the twin turbo whistle. Actually ive had a few people back off from a race when they hear em spool up.
Only had a couple people stay on it and i left em except for a 02 harley supercharged truck, He pulled me by about a truck length but that supercharger sure sounded sweet.

Seems like the dodge guys are more scared of the ecoboost

 

That's funny cause they wouldn't be as scared if it were a 6.2, even though they'd be about as fast, but those turbos just have that "X factor!"

 

I bet if you wait until September of 2014, you can get a Tremor for invoice, or less.

 

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on how many they actually DO build and how well they sell. I also think there's a possibility it will be a one year only truck, being that the 2015 is a major redesign year.

It'll be interesting to see how this all goes down.

After x plan and rebates I can get this one for 40,040.

The other one is 41,476 after plan and rebates. They are both identically equipped other than the engine, they are even the same color.

I'm at a quandary now, do I get the eco beast and get the slightly better mileage, or get the 5.0 that has a lot more upgrade options available right now like intakes, cams, long tubes, and superchargers.

 

Simple. Buy them both!

 

My truck is better than that Tremor! Eco boost, not in any Ford I would own. Only the best 5.0 for me.

 

Ha ha your funny. I may make a real good living, but I still can't afford two trucks, not with the house payment and the wifes escape and the focus I bought for my kid when she got her license, and I'm the only one who has a job right now.
