I'd rather have that and then have the spare cash to blow. The FX appearance package shouldn't cost the same as a screw when the back seat and the fanciness that comes with the package for the back seat, isn't there lol

Wow! I had no idea. Every Raptor I've seen at local dealerships are at least mid-50s. Of course, they're all Super Crew, plus, plus, plus, blah, blah, blah. I wasn't aware the Raptor was that downgrade-able.

Thankee fer the info! Ah reckon ah needs to crawl out from under 'is derned slickety ol' East Tenn'ssee rawk ah's a-livin' up'n in under.

You have to order a "stripped" Raptor - the dealers don't get them for floor stock.

And the fact they did that just makes it a total crock of ish.

Stripped Raptor would be good enough for me. I don't like a lot of fluff in my vehicles anyway.

You'll be able to get one of these Tremors cheaper soon. There are going to be some guys impulse buying them, then realizing that they can't fit the wife and kids in it.

I bought an 04 Lightning in 06, with less than 4k on it for a decent price. The Tremor will be out there too.

I really want a tremor, but after some checking and talking to the dealer, I can only get 1K in rebates and no x plan on a tremor, so I'm looking at 40,400 for a 2wd tremor. I drove this one today http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...FW1ET9DFD97731 and I can get it for 41,476 after x plan and rebates. So for basically 1K more I can get a loaded FX4 screw, as far as I'm concerned it's a no brainer, I'm going for the screw.

Yeah, FX4 screw all the way for that. The name "Tremor" - oooh special - isn't worth $10k

Oh I forgot to mention, a dealer near me (Montrose Ford down in Akron) actually has a tremor on the lot already. My salesman called them yesterday and verified that they have it.

Here it is http://www.montrosefordakron.com/new...MF1CT5EFA09471

After a few months when ford realizes that the tremors are not moving, they may allow the discount plans (a,d,x,z) and offer bigger rebates to get rid of them. I feel most will not pay 40+ for a RCSB truck when they can get a leftover 13 scab or screw for the same or even less.

I immediately thought the same thing when I saw that little pic. Sho nuff, it is.

But hey they're giving out that MASSIVE $500 rebate for eBay shoppers!

PS, I think the discount is missing a zero. Must be an accident . . .

If you think about it, it makes sense that dealers that are fairly close to Dearborn will get them first. Ford didn't start building them until early November. There are only 2 tremors on ebay and I'm guessing the other one is no farther than Chicago. The gray one at montrose ford is only 45 minutes from me and I'm only 3 hrs from Detroit (err Dearborn)

It does not cost the same as SuperCrew.

It is $5,255 more for the a comparably equipped SuperCrew than a Tremor.

You can use X Plan for a Tremor. If the dealer refuses for whatever reason, then that's his choice to lose the sale or you can simply order one or go to a different dealer.
