$100 less than my 2013 FX2 Supercrew....

 

Yeah it's kinda pricey for a reg cab 4x4, but it's the first I've found. It also has the extra tremor plus pack, the optional rubber floor mats, and the extra cost ruby red color.

On a related note, I talked to my salesman this past Tuesday and inquired about when the tremors are supposed to show up on the lots. He was told around late november, but we are only 3 hours from detroit (or dearborn) He also said the two they were alotted are a black 4x4 and a gray 2wd, he told me that I will probably have to order a blue 2wd one.

 

At that price they can keep them!

 

They are still going to sell every one that they build.

 

Yeah for that price ill buy the raptor.

You can make your own, better, Tremor for less than that. If only window sticker meant nothing like they do on regular trucks, but these will sell at or above sticker.

 

Base Price of $38.8k? Are you kidding me? Someone clearly punch in a "3" instead of a "2" there.

The "Tremor" package is only a $1800 option. Ford screwed the pooch on this one.

Just because they are gauging the market on the return of a Lightning or sport truck doesn't mean they can ask that price right off the bat for it.

I could be wrong, but I sincerely believe Ford overestimated what folks would be willing to pay for this truck. Sure, rebates and dealer discounts will apply, but even at $36K?

Just not worth it, IMO.

 

Using Ford's build and price, Raptor starts at about $44.5k for a super cab model.

 

Actually it's mandatory, so is the FX appearance pack at 2480 bucks. The tremor plus pack is optional and costs 2K. You basically have to add 4275 to the 38.3K base price to get a 4x4 tremor with no options. A 2wd tremor starts at 35465 then add the mandatory options and your at 39740 before anything else.

 

Yea, at that price, they can keep it. I'd rather buy an STX 5.0 and put a supercharger on it. Would come out to less $$. 5.0, STX, regular cab, 4x4 with 3.73 E locker is $33.1k. $5k-6k for a supercharger and you are about the base price of tremor with more HP and torque. Throw some decent looking aftermarket rims and still come in under the price of a Tremor after the mandatory options are included. Or just get a Raptor and not really have to do anything.

 

The only way to get a EB and 4.10's in a RCSB is a Tremor.

I bet that dealers and Ford handle it just like the Raptor - not one cent off sticker and no rebates. Like I said, they will sell every one they build.

 

True, but if you want the FX interior, flow thru console, My Ford Touch, factory 20's, 4.10 gears and the EB in reg cab short bed you have to get the tremor.

I just checked and you can get a 2wd stx with the 5.0 and 3.55 e lock, rear camera, reverse sensing, and factory 20's for 33,550 sticker.
