If you had a cb you could have gathered whether he was working with the other drivers or not and if he did it on purpose. Truckers blame most mishaps on "four wheelers" these days and for good reason.

You will not win a fight with an 18 wheeler weighing 80,000 lbs. I have seen the carnage and it's not pretty.

People that don't learn from their mistakes are destined to repeat them. Maybe a defensive driving course would help the OP see the error in his driving decision. He lived to tell everyone about this one but will he be as lucky in the future.

I personally think they are putting too much computer crap into vehicles. Glad mine is pretty bare bones compared to today's standards. All this new crap I don't want that does nothing but make a vehicle more expensive is why I doubt I will be getting anything new anytime soon. Might be high time to go and find me an old '79 in decent condition and start working on it.

You're right, passing 5 semi's traveling 75 mph using the right lane seems smart, until one of them decides to cut you off, then blame the truck nannies that you tried to defeat during the crisis so that you could fishtail while off the pavement. Gutsiest decision I ever read about. Have a great day also.
