Funny. Mine is worse with weight. My 750 lb atv makes it completely unusable. I hate ford right now. HATE THEM. . I am having subpoenas drafted and affidavits prepared for arbitration. I've got two buddies with 2012's that don't vibrate and they are coming as well. If anyone has this problem please email me. I need ammo to bring to arbitration.

I have a 2010 SC 5.5 FX4. I started having this vibration issue at about 70,000. I took it to the dealer this morning and they are baffled. I can hear their answer tomorrow already. My shaking starts at 45 and stops at 65. Not bad, just annoying. Loaded, unloaded, towing a 5000 pound boat is all the same. Dealer wouldn't gve me a loaner because they couldn't tell if the extended warranty will cover it. Guess I should feel lucky the vibration isn't bad. Someone posted that the Wrangler SRAs were a big POS. I got 73,000 miles out of mine.

Does anyone with this vibration problem have a tuner? I was thinking that a tuner might effect this problem. A long shot, but changing the engine and tranny programming might have an effect.

Hey everyone. Please keep the contacts coming. Remember information is power and while ford may not listen to one or two of us they are more apt to listen to a whole bunch of us.

My dealer called me today and asked me to test drive my truck. They swapped a set of new wheels and tires from a new truck on the lot. With the new wheels and tires, there was no vibration. They reinstalled the original wheels and the vibration returned. The dealer seems to think that the new tires, Michelin 10-plys, are too stiff and cause some sort of resonance. They suggested that I have the wheels road-force balanced, but the tire dealer does not have that equipment. Thankfully, the vibration is not as bad as you guys are reporting. Once I find someone who can road-force balance the wheels, I will post the result.

See, I am on the other end of the spectrum, with the POS Wrangler SRA "P" tires, whcih are too soft and adding to the vibration. This whole thing is just ridiculous.

Your ford dealer should be able to do the road force balance as they use to have to do it on certain tires for the same reason. I think my dealer charges $80 for a set of 4. Good luck.

What Michelin's are they ? I've had excellent luck with Michelin's, they usually ride very smooth.

At least your dealer had enough of a brain to do the swap. Pretty much narrows your issue down.

Well. My dealer is now dealing with ford directly on my behalf. They are a totally impressive act and can't believe what ford has pulled on a a customer. So arbitration is on hold pending what the dealer can do....and they are a HUGE dealer...top volume dealer in Canada so maybe they will have some pull.

I had called them and told them what was happening.. They couldn't believe it. So they are stepping in before I file for arbitration. Keep you posted.

Oh. And now I have a very distinct high speed vibration at 60 km/h. Feels directly below the seats. Driveshaft probably. Booking to bring it in. Again.

Picked up my 2012 ecoboost. XLT, crew, 6.5' bed.

Ive got a vibration between 60-70km/hr. Doesnt feel like tires, that type of vibration usually starts at higher speeds and doesnt disappear. But I do feel a vibration at 60 and stops around 70 (km/hr). Interested what you find out Chris.

Did they keep swapping a bad one in? The build month of my truck is June of this year if that makes any difference.
