So 2.5 AS leveling kit=nose high 2011 4x4?

Just received mine in the mail and as I'm reading through some posts I see some people claim it makes it front end high, while others don't. Anyone know?

In my past experiences with leveling kits - I always put like 1" blocks in the rear in addition to the front kit

Supposedly on the 09+ trucks, an AS 1.5" gets you level and actually gives you 2" lift. (AS 1.5" and HBS 2" are the same dimensions)

Run your AS 2.5" in front, pick up a set of raptor blocks (2.5") for the back, and swap them for your OE blocks (1.25") for a 1.25" boost in the rear.

Well that's actually what I was trying to stay away from, adding anything to the rear end.

on 09 and up go 1.5 or 2 if you want to be level. 2.5 will be slightly nose high. o4-08 can get away with 2.5, but i still have just a 2 on my 04. anyways if youre looking for level on a 2011 go witha 2

link in sig, also sticky'd in the suspension section, would tell you 2" gets you level on the 06+ trucks.

04-05 had a different leaf pack requiring 2.5" to get level.

Look thru the gallery on that link, should have 1 1.5" leveled ecoboost and a few 2" leveled trucks to help you decide before you choose a different size.

Good call. I've seen many 2.5's sit about an inch nose high. My 08 SD was the same way. I want to buy a "LEVELING KIT" so I can make my front level with the rear. Not to add crap to the back to make it level after buying and installing the "leveling kit" .

The safest bet is the 1.5" or I've even seen a 1". Both of these actually get the truck level.

My Autospring 2" made the truck almost level but a little nose high. I ended up adding the Autospring 2" blocks for a slight rake. It's got a perfect stance, IMO.

I still have 1/2" of rake with my 2" Autospring. I've seen the results (amount of lift) vary slightly depending on SCew vs. SCab , new struts vs. older struts and one brand of leveling kit vs. another brand.

On a different note, did anyone else purchase an AS kit that looks like a five year old welded it together? I'm sure the welds are strong but it's not nearly as clean looking as the HBS kit I put on my 05 (not that you can actually see the thing once it's installed anyway).

I prefer the Autospring because of the gussets welded in for added strength. FWIW, I've never seen steel leveling kit spacers fail so they are all probably good enough. I have seen a poly spacer split. Not sure if it was a Daystar or some no name brand? But the truck was driven beyond it's limits when the spacer split.
