No Iam still going FX, with the appearance package (removing all the stickers).. I just can't pick a color..

I love the race red, but at the same time love the blue flame w/ appearance package (would be painting the red badges and swapping red leather interior for custom blue/black leather), then I saw silver without the graphics I am still undecided on the powertrain choice too..

I have nothing but time

Oh boy another Red Candy one. I'm getting so many ideas on here I just like seeing them on my color. If this one turns out like your others I can't wait.

Do you at least take some of the mods and transfer them to the new truck? like wheels and tires and such?

You had a great looking truck. Im sure this would be just as nice. Im not a fan of red but I saw the Platnium in red and it is by far my favorite comb. Best of luck with it.

funny, my wife says the same thing but loves me anyway.

I just ordered the Zone 2-1/2 inch kit and Magnaflow Dual Exit Exhaust so will have those installed early next week along with the tires. I am now second guessing the tires with the BFG ATs as well. Either way, I think I am going with a taller 34-inch but narrower and keep the upscale look of the Platinum....all subject to change of course!

hehe...sorry about that but thanks!

Wait a minute, we have been waiting for you to decide for how long and you want pics already? Just kidding, I should have most of everthing done after this coming weekend so will post pics then.

I thought you would be all excited that I picked "red"....lol.

Since 2007, I've owned 7 vehicles. Since I bought my first car in 2000, I've had 11 of them. I'm hoping my truck breaks the cycle of trade-ins. Gotta love the Platinum though! I would've gone Platinum, but wanting to fit in "regular" parking spaces AND have a 6.5' bed necessitated the Lariat Scab I've got now

Congrats!

Hey I totally relate; let's see, since 2007 I have owned 9 or 10 myself but this makes it +65 since I started driving so glad I am in good company.

Yeah, that was probably mine since I did list it on eBay; sold it off auction though.

Thanks Devin...lol....well, it might look a little more reserved than my previous ones as I am keeping the Platinum wheels (I actually like how they look) so not going too aggressive a stance this time.

Thanks....as much as I liked how all my white trucks turned out, I really didn't want to go that route again. And considering that this is the color my wife liked is all the better!

Yeah, on this one I kept the Smittybilt light bar and the PIAA lights and reused them, and took the Snug Top topper off and resold it. The wheels and tires, and other mods, stayed with the truck but I got every dollar on the accessories I put into it so all good there.

Thanks! I have not been a big fan of the Red Candy either until I saw it on the Platinum too; something about the way the color works with the satin and chrome highlights that make it look pretty rich. I also got the black/brown leather with black burl wood interior and it looks great with the Red Candy as well. The whole truck "pops" in person so will have to see how it looks when I finally get some pics taken.

Can't wait to see this one. You have to be a descendant of Henry Ford, Congrat's!

Congrats on another new truck. Your last two trucks on this forum were awesome, and tastefully done I might add. So I can't wait to watch the metamorphosis of this one into something unique and tasteful. Good luck with the 5.0, it's a good engine and some guy on the other forum is running 13's with a tuned 5.0 4X4, so it will get the job done.

I thought I was crazy with having purchased 5 brand new vehicles, all fomoco, since fall 2008, but it looks like I don't hold a candle to some of you. I am going to give the new vehicle bug a break for a while unless one of our rides craps out.

Anyway, I'm glad you're happy with the Plat. And I totally agree with another attempt at TOTM when you get her done.

EDIT: Thanks for buying another Ford. As a shareholder, I'm happy to see you buying a new one every year, LOL. Can't say you're not doing your part to help the economy.
