I really hope it doesn't break down cause you know, parts would be expensive and hard to get. Then there is the labor. Those Italian coffee grinder repair guys don't come cheap. Maybe I could work on it myself though. It was very expensive (for a grinder) and I think I got completely hosed on my trade in. But I love it anyway. Do you think I should buy the ESP for it?
the ESP is a must if not you should put you'r money in the grinder.

Have you never noticed how no matter what the challenging vehicle is, a cummins is better in their mind? That's exactly how half of the people act with the eco's on here. I even put a disclaimer at the bottom and yal still went ape ****.

I have never said my motor is better, yall are assuming that. I didn't once mention what motor since this pissing match started so yal either assumed i have the 5.0, seen me post that i have the 5.0, or looked thru my post to see what motor i have. I chose what works for me, but not ONCE have i said one is better than the other.

The fact that all of yal have taken that i think the 5.0 is better after i said i have nothing against the eco or a turbo'd vehicles reliability is all on yal.

Wookie, yes some members do their own work. But i bet you 7 out of 10 take theirs to the shop. Yes there are write ups for mods, but how many write ups vs. active members? congrats you work on your own truck but thinking every member does their own work is just not true. A plug change is much easier (simplicity wise) than pulling a turbo and rebuilding (which i know isn't that difficult to but its not a one banana job) I know i'd much rather take my truck to get work done than do it myself, a tleast on my f150 since it's my dd.

I have not once argued against the EB, i argued if you are going to reply to someones post saying oo this is only xx amount include the labor charge. Most don't want to tear into a turbo, it's intimidating if you have never done it before so most will want to farm it out if something was to happen. ONCE AGAIN I HAVE NEVER SAID THAT IT IS GOING TO HAPPEN ANY TIME SOON IF AT ALL IN MOST DRIVERS OWNERSHIPS

This whole pissing match from one post just adding to a point made is ridiculous. I'm done with this thread.

So anyway,

I've been thinking about modding my grinder. You know, black it all out. The hopper is clear plastic. I could night-shade that. Then for that ugly brushed stainless steel body I could plasti-crap that. I know it will wear, but I can always redo it. It just peels right off.

It sits kinda low on the counter. Thinking about lifting it with bigger rubber feet. I don't want to get high centered on a spoon.

This one makes it power down low and kinda sounds like a quiet diesel Mercedes. My old one you had to rev way up to make enough power to grind. It sounded like a weed-whacker on a gravel drive. Man, I really miss that sound.

Do you think Capresso of Italy will void my warranty if I install a bigger hopper than it was designed for?

I can't believe I just read this ENTIRE thread, you have to be kidding me that this arguing between the 5.0 and ecoboost still exists, I thought people were over this. All this bickering is over a 5 horsepower, and 40 ft/lbs of torque difference. Both engines have a LOT of potential for mods, or to be left stock for years of good reliability. Sorry, I just think most people are acting childish when it comes to this subject of engine choice. Why can't we all just agree that Ford has made some kick a@# engines and they are ALL superior to what they replaced?

Congrats OP on your new truck.

Yeah, I wouldn't black it out. That look is getting old and too trendy. I'd keep her stock, but you may want to add a racing stripe down the side. Go for the larger hopper and if you have warranty issues just take her back to "stock" form and Capresso would be none the wiser... good luck

Somethings are better than others thats just life. I know a corvette is better than my camaro no sense trying to justify an arguement. The problem is you have people that want to brag about it when there is nothing to brag about , then you have people that want to argue about it when there is no arguement, and you have people that cant come to reality about it and admit something is better. Both good engines one cost more than the other, one produces more power and better mpg's. You make the call on which one is better no one else should for you.

personally I tow 9500lbs and needed the most powerful 1/2 ton there was and that was EB. Maybe ford is lying to me as some have suggested but according to the numbers that is worked for me. I tow my 9500lbs fine and get 4-5mpg better than my diesel did all the while paying 50 cents less per gallon for fuel, and dont have to ride on a brick anymore. So this made sense. If i was towing a little less and didnt need the full capacity that the EB offered I would have saved my 1000 bucks and went to the 5.0
