What grit sand paper do you guys reccomend??

Are you going to sand them smooth or just scuff and paint them?

On the rears remove the screws on the very bottom, remove push pin fasteners in the fender lips, then firmly pull the flares away from the fenders to release the clips (one at a time) on the outer fenders. The fronts have 2 nuts that attatch to the upper bumper cover. Remove those and all of the push pins then pull away from the fender to release the clips on the outer fender. On the fronts I start pulling from the front and work back. That way the 2 studs on the front flare aren't going to scratch the paint. Someone else recently did a writeup on this but he used some sort of tool to release the clips on the outer fenders. I just yanked them off by hand.

Here is my 2011 FX4 with PTM flares. I just bought a set off a Harley. I guess the PTM flares is going to be a factory option for the FX4 Luxury in 2012......I should have waited to buy my truck.

Anyways....onto the picture

I would hope so, considering the fact that its 6" lower then a factory Fx4 in the back.
