F-350 is $55k OTD, a ecoboost is $40k OTD. A ecoboost F150 can't tow my 40ft fifth wheel or my 12k boat! So yes a F350 is a wise choice for me.

Another ignorant diesel person, once spartan gets the tunes for the 6.7 figured out, this truck will be a animal! I ridden in their 200HP war hammer tuned truck and did a 13.7 with a 1.9 60' time. Why don't you go and educate yourself some on the 6.4 with a spartan tune, than come back and we can talk big boy trucks.
Im sorry, but is this the "F-250/350 Online forum"?

I like the sound of the EB and its turbos, but im all about small displacement turbo engines that make big power...

That's the best sounding system out there so far, would be even better without cats... Id like to see a large diamter dual exit like this though, bet it would sound mean as well. This 4" sounds almost like a diesel truck though, minus the cackle...

I wonder if an EB could sound like this R35 GTR TT V6...Food for thought... Bet the EB with no cats and straight thru mufflers would sound similar though...

it might gain 30+ hp but that's just like the claims with an intake on the 5.4 gaining 20-25+ hp, sure it's there but on your first test drive you start wondering where the hell the power is.

there will be alot better options than spartan for the 6.7's. hell with the 6.4 there are alot better options available. i will be curious to see what the 6.7 does with power but i highly doubt it will out perform the 6.4 with just a tune and emissions deleted.

edit: and holy hell that white lariat sounds like absolute crap.

It's good to have best of both worlds. A truck that can haul and do truck stuff, but also haul azz when you want it to . The EB will do both better.

meh, Do you also think Indy cars, formula 1 and Dodge Vipers sound like crap? I like how V8's sound, but can appreciate a different exhaust note. Although, nothing sounds worse than a Dodge Hemi with Flowmasters. That is absolute crap.

we are now comparing indy and formula cars exhaust note to the ecoboost?

dodge vipers do sound like crap, but a dodge viper is a piece of crap to begin with.

indy and formula cars do sound good but its not a motor designed to be driven on the road daily, it's a motor that's as expensive as a lot of houses. you can't compare them with an ecoboost.

^ don't take it too far out of contex . I was just stating there are wonderful and bad *** motors that aren't rumbling V8's. Heck I have a 06 YFZ450 that most 2 strokers couldn't stand, but now it's accepted. I think the same will happen for the EB. Yeah, it's not a grumbly "truck" sound. Soon everybody will recognize that sound and associate it with a sleeper.. a la Buick GN

The ecoboost is sweet, Why would you get the 6.2 if its close to the numbers of the EB but the EB gets better mileage? IDK I guess its all about preferences. I appreciate all engine sizes/configurations!

The EcoBoost technology/engine combo has yet to be proven in the real world consumer market! Don't even talk about other platforms that its already been in like the Taurus SHO/Lincoln MKS Etc. The F-150 is a far different platform than those vehicles & what its used for. When I see one with 200K miles of real world use & abuse maybe I'll consider getting one! Till then the V8's being the 5.0,5.4,6.2 are my choice period!...........
