I think it was bagged wrong at the factory. The bag says

There is a little sticker on the switch itself:
AL3T*7Z155-AAW

made in Mexico...
Well, Tasca says I have what I ordered... Says the sticker on the switch is jsut an engineering #...

Hi guys, I gotta chime in here and fill you in on the correct part number so people stop ordering the wrong one.

The correct part number for the Raptor Switch is AL3Z-14B166-BA and you can see what it looks like in the photos below.

Right now, they are on nationwide backorder as these are a hot part right now. As soon as they are available, I am going to buy all the available inventory in the country so we are stocked up on them.

Oh and the number on the actual part is not the part number, it is an Engineering number. The engineering number will have a corresponding Ford part number.

If you guys have anymore questions, please feel free to ask.

thanks,
Tasca Parts

Foxracer, your switch should look similar but not be the same. I have my photographer taking pictures of it now so I can show you what I am talking about. Will post pics in a few minutes.

Haha, something changed because I know these guys that have done this used the AA part number and got the Raptor switch. I know what I got using that # is the AWD switch which is a paper weight to me due to the no returns on electronics..
And to see they are on nationwide back order yeah... I just wasted $170 bucks shopping on the internet...

Should have just left my truck alone...

So the switch is only $24, Tasca? Using the PN# you just posted is what I came back with.

^x2, that's the way mine looks and works. I would think a 2012, non awd, 4x4 with the locker would look the same though, since they lock in 2wd now. Might be the same with the tccm too.

This mod is great... Ford obviously should have allowed 2WD ELD mode from the factory on 2011 F150's, and I guess they agree seeing as they added it on 2012's! But there are still a few questions I'd like to figure out...

This mod is done by replacing the original TCCM (BL3Z7E453C?) with the 2011 Raptor TCCM (BL3Z7E453D), plus the Raptor 4WD switch (AL3Z14B166BA). This has been tested, we know that works great. But it still has the ELD speed limitation, and will automatically disengage the ELD when certain speeds are reached.

Raptors come with an off-road switch that eliminates this restriction. Looking at the wiring diagrams, it looks like the off-road switch does nothing other than tying pin 12 of the TCCM to 12V hot.

Question 1: If you've already have the TCCM/4WD switch mod, will adding a custom toggle switch, TCCM pin 12 to hot, effectively give non-Raptors "off road mode" and remove the ELD speed limitation?

Secondly, the 2012 F150 allows 2WD ELD from the factory. It has yet another TCCM (CL3Z7E453CA). This TCCM is interesting as the list price is ~$70 instead of ~$200.

Question 2: Can the newer, significantly less expensive 2012 TCCM be used in place of the 2011 Raptor TCCM to add 2WD ELD to 2011 F150's?

Any thoughts?
