My truck was built September/October of 2011. So does this mean I could use the TM-243? What's the part number?

These are the ones I've seen documented as working for modding 2WD ELD onto 2011 trucks:
  • BL3Z7E453D (TM-239): TCCM that is stock on 2011 Raptor, members have it working on 2011 F150's
  • CL3Z7E453CD (TM-261): TCCM that is stock on 2012 F150 with ELD, one member on the other F150 forum has it working on his 2011 F150.

TM-243?
I don't think anyone has tried that yet.

CL3Z7E453DA (TM-243): With Electric Transfer Case ; Electronic Locking Differential, With Hill Descent Control
I'm guessing that is the TCCM from the 2012 Raptor as I don't know of any other models with hill descent control. Not sure how it differs from TCM-239 on the 2011 Raptor, but it is cheaper ($70 list vs. $190 list). If TM-261 is working on 2011's, I bet TM-243 will work as well.

Sounds like I should just go with TM-261 (PN: CL3Z7E453CD) to be sure it will work. Right?

Do not order this part for a 2011. As reported on the "other forum" this part has issues on the 2011 with getting 4Lo to work correctly. Instead stick with the 2011 Raptor Part

Yup, my TM-261 does not engage 4LO either.

It looks like I'll be ordering the Raptor AL3Z-7E453-DC part.

Same here, the TM-261 will not engage 4WD Low Range, and throws a wrench and a message to check the 4WD system on the LCD. I was one of the first to report it on the "other forum", sorry I should have posted it here too. It partially worked though, the elocker definitely engaged in 2WD when I did the mod.

The 2011 TCCM is not the way to go. I plan to try the 2011 Raptor TCCM. I left my Raptor switch in so it will be just unplugging the stock TCCM and plugging in the Raptor one - hopefully.

Any 2012 owners out there looking for a spare TCCM? I have one for sale. Only had it in the vehicle for about an hour, LOL :o

Hi Yellowsvt,
Finally did you go with the with the TCM module #TM233? AND did it work well?
I'm in the same path with my 2011 FX4 EB.
Trying to conclude with a clear part# in this forum that will make it work is more than confusing!
Thank's for your reply,

E locker fix

Thanks for the info! I've been wanting to do this to my FX4 for years. Going to get the parts ordered tomorrow. Awesome write up and pics.

1st you say that it " if I'm understanding this correctly that it won't work for the 2011FX4 " then later on you say that it will. I just want to be positive about this before I order the parts. Will this mod work fine on a 2011 FX4? If I misread the first part then I'm an idiot. I just want to be sure. Thanks!
