New Recon cab lights

Install was pretty easy. I like them alot even if some dont like them but heres the pics and sorry for the crappy pics. I'll try and get some day time ones. It took about 2 hrs to do and was really simple.

I didnt go with the basic install of
13-8-8-8-13 i went with
11-11-11-11-11 it looked better to me anyways. one question though does anyone know what color wire to connect the power lead to on the headlight switch? I have it on the white/purple stripe but when left on auto it stays on constant with the truck turned off. Thanks

Which lights did you install? The SuperDuty ones? It looks like you added LED bulbs, correct?

Interested in these and have been looking at the Black ones Recon offers. Some better pictures would definitely spark my interest even more and maybe get me motivated enough to make the purchase...

Waiting for pics!

R8rone: how hard was it to remove the head liner? Also how did you wire them, to the auto lights or to a switch?

New pics

Heres some more pics....

Close up of the light

Alittle clearer night shot

Day time (not on cause you can bearly see them)

@blueovalboy-The hole size is 7/16. Its a big hole but you need it to fit the light connections through. It has a rubber gasket under the lights but I siliconed the hell out of it so it wont leak!

@lugger007-The headliner removal is pretty easy. I thought of doing a write up but was to lazy. Basically you remove the sun visors with 3 screws and unplug the light if you have one. Then pull the dome lights out literally and un plug them. Remove the pillars my pulling the drivers and unbolting the passengers. I have a sunroof so it made it easy to sit on the console and see through the headliner for the wiring. I hooked the light up to the purple/white wire on the headlight switch but when I leave it on Auto the cab lights stay on so I need to find another wire. Anyone???

I love the lights and would recommend them. Installation is easy and the kit comes complete! The only cons are there not as bright as I thought they would be but could be due to the dark lens. But they look good!
