Introduction from the new guy
Hi guys, I didn't see a welcome wagon section, so I figured I would post here. I just bought a new 2010 SuperCrew with the 3v 4.6, 4wd, xlt, chrome package to replace my trusty 2004 Ranger Edge with the 4.0l and a 5spd. As you can see... the Ranger met the end of it's life recently. Took me a long time (6years) to get that truck paid for and setup exactly like I liked it... I was sad to see it go.
I live here in Tulsa. The truck will be getting (within a week) a Century Royal camper shell complete with factory rack tracks on it and then will eventually get a roof rack of some kind on the camper.
I'll post it in the classifieds as well, but the blingy 18" chrome clad wheels aren't exactly my taste... so if anyone wants to talk about a trade/purchase... shoot me a message.
The camper is going to have a full headliner as well and will be matched with a BedRug. So it should be pretty cush in there. That's a good thing since I am a pro photographer and use the truck to carry a lot of stinkin' gear!
I'm also a big upland bird hunter and travel a good bit with dogs. This year so far we have hunted grouse in Minnesota and pheasant in Kansas. Next up quail in Texas and woodc@ck in South Louisiana! This truck is gonna be a dream for what I do, and the fuel mileage so far isn't much worse than the old Ranger!
Here's a few images of the new truck as well.
Anyhow, the forum has already helped a lot and I appreciate all the info here. Can't wait to get the truck all decked out for work and share some images.

Here's a link to the blog written by the woman I was photographing that day... for a major national magazine in fact. She explains it pretty well. Luckily we got it rescheduled in a couple of days. My assistant was with me in the truck.... and yes, we both walked away totally unscathed. I had a cut on my finger from a piece of glass and he had a bruised bicep.
