What bag/compressor/tank setup did you go with? I am needing to do this with mine, and am trying to figure out what piesces to order.

Also, before the bags, did you have a problem with the rear smacking the bump stops on hard jolts? I have not put the Belltech stops in my truck-yet, we just cut the stockers to the lip (roughly the same height as the Belltechs); and it hits going over railroad tracks, creeping over speed bumps, some bridge joints, so on and so forth. It's not that it bothers me, I am just getting tired of getting funny looks out of passengers that are unfamiliar with lowered trucks.

Oh, yeah, one other thing:

Want to trade your stock wheels for some 18's?

i have a Viar 2gal tank and Viar 150psi compressor. The bags are Slam Specialties RE-5.

Can you cut your stock bumpstops any shorter? i have stock ones cut down pretty short. with no load in the bed i ride with no air in the bags so i sit level so i still hit on occasion but i drive pretty slow and know when to slow down for bumps and dips just like you. i have been driving lowered trucks for a lot of years and thats just part of it. it great when i have a load though and i am aired up to sit level because then i never hit the bumpstops and it rides like a dream.

I'd say you're sitting an inch higher in the back

damn you! lol. you prob wouldn't even notice if i had not given you those measurements. i am seriously considering going 2" lower in the rear so i have to air up slightly to sit level but i just don't know if i want to have to rely on the bags like that. it would make the ride so much smoother though if i could ride around with some air in the bags. agghhhhh decisions decisions.

yep, i've fallen in love with this truck. lol my next one is definitely going to be lowered about like yours since i'm tired of a rough leveled truck. i noticed your air horns are very similar to mine with the exception being the way they mount, and i must say they are pretty fun when cruising mall and theatre parking lots from time to time.

thanks man. I love it too. I am actually staring at it out my office window as I type this. lol

The airhorns are a blast but I try my best not to abuse them. I can't help but blast the occasional emo kid or girls that walk in front of my truck. lol. Hitting them while driving under an overpass is the best. The sound just bounces off everything and makes them twice as loud, as if that's needed. lol

Swapped out my Interior map and dome lights and my exterior cargo and license plate lights out with some 6K LEDs from V-leds.com and Superbrightleds.com.

Huge improvement. Should have done this mod the first week I had my truck. The light is so much brighter and cleaner. Just makes my interior look classier I think. Makes the outside look more modern too. They match my 6k HID heads and fogs good. I will be doing brake lights and turn signals next.

Here is what I ordered from V-led for the license plate, map and dome.
1 ) 2 HID WHITE 6 ANGLED LED FLANK BULBS 194 168 158

1 ) 2 V-LEDS 6K WHITE 194 13 LED LIGHT BULBS 158 168 2825

3 ) HID 6K WHITE HIGH POWER 4 LED FESTOON DOME BULB 211 212 6413 6429 578

This is what I ordered from superbrightleds for the cargo lights.
2) 921-x12: Wedge Base LED bulb 921-CW12: Cool White

Tried to take some pics but I was messing with the exposure on the camera trying to figure how to show the light and not use a flash without the pic turning out dark. These are the ones that I took.

Here are comparison pics from another member who obviously has better camera skills than me. These show the difference between incandescent and LED really well.

hahahah those last 2 pics aren't actually my truck. They are from other members on here that have the same lights and same interior. I just put them up for comparison purposes because they obviously knew how to operate their camera much better than I do and they captured the light better. I would never have anything hanging from my mirror. The inside of my truck is void of ANYTHING except my sun shade that I keep in the pass side back pocket. I hate clutter. I'm just gonna delete that last pic so there is no confusion. LOL
