Milt, how much was the grille? Do you have to get a custom grille to fit the FX2 or any XLT or STX billet grille will fit our FX2's? How much was it?

it was about $330 shipped for both grilles. you want the grilles listed for the FX4.

Nice!

How does the turn down exhaust sound? I've got tips on mine now but I'm considering going the route you did to hide the exhaust.

question guys first off all you trucks look great now have you guys had any problems going back to the dealership and getting warranty work done? well l did so l started calling around and was told the same thing from all the dealers in my area and also called for motor company up and was told the same thing which is if the dealer thinks that a factory part went bad do to an aftermarket part that thay can and probly will cancel out that part of your warranty this just happened to me my tranny is shifting funny which is a common problem but the dealer told me that it was do to my fresh air kit (WHAT !!!) and that thay will not mess with it unless l want to pay or until l remove it l also have and mega flow exhaust delivered today that lm going to ship back because l also herd of a guy loosing his power train coverage when he developed an engine problem (dont make any sense eather) but l just wanted to let you guys know thats its up to the dealer and you have to fight to get you warranty back

Damn it man seeing your truck makes me want to change my lift plans and go low! Where did you get the mirror reflectors? Did you get the grill off ebay or where? The grill has been on my list since I before I bought the truck. Looks great!

I have heard a CAI can cause a lean condition on the 09-10 trucks. I could see them maybe having an argument there. But technically they need to prove that the part caused the problem to be able to deny a claim. The exhaust problem is total BS! An exhaust wont do anything to your engine.

F the dealerships!!! i would only ever go to one as a last resort and im not letting the fear of a voided warranty alter my truck plans. ive only had this truck about 5 months and ive already dumped a bit of money into it. anything short of an engine failure or transmission failure is getting taken care of by me not the dealership. if a serious malfunction ever occurs i will fight the dealer to the grave if need be.

tascaparts.com has the mirror pieces. they are a vendor here. the grilles are precision billet grilles and i got them from a distributor that got them directly from precision.

Put the Harley Davidson 22"s on with some 305/40/22 Nitto 420s. I plan on having the wheels re-polished, have the black parts painted the same color gray as my truck, and have them re-cleared.

I have helper bags in the rear now too that run off a 2gal tank and small compressor. they are operated by a switch i have under the dash and i have a gauge to monitor pressure as well. hooked 3 air horns up to the same tank/compressor too. lol. you can see the bags through the wheel in a couple of the last pics but i will get some better pics of the entire system next time i am at my buddies shop and i can put it up on the lift.
