So tell me about your grille and taillights, did you get them painted to match?

thats not gonna happen. i feel like running boards are for people who cant get in the truck without them. never been a fan of them. plus im putting them up for sale so i dont want to throw them back on.

most def! 22s will come but its gonna be a while. that will be the final touch to bring the entire package together.

those are the factory FX2 tails and grill. the grille only came PTM on this color though. my brother has a silver FX2 and his grill is black. his tails are PTM silver.

 

Yea I have the same color truck but in the fx4. The boarder around my grille is ptm too but the center part is black, it looked like the center part of your grille were ptm, but kinda hard to tell from the picture. As for your tails are they the same color of your truck, or the usual silver trim...because again they look ptm in the picture.

 

the center part of my grille and the tails are PTM from the factory. thats why the FX2 is the best. lol

If you havent sold them, would you want to part with those running boards you removed? I had a car mangle my right side board and i would like to put the stock back on.

 

This FX2 PTM grille and taillight thing i dont understand! All FX2's 2010 come with the sterling metallic grille and sterling metallic head/tail light surround stock no matter your color. If its anything else it was changed by the dealer.

yep youre right. i thought my brothers heads and tails were PTM silver but they are the same color as mine, which just so happen to be PTM for my color. his grille is the same color as mine too, it just looked black to me i guess. here are a few pics of his truck just for the heck of it.

 

I like the sterling metallic accents. I think it gives it somethign extra. Plus no other vehicle has the head/tail lights like us and the 2011 will have black.

 

yeah i love mine and im definitely keeping them. he is getting the harley heads and tails. hes going with a black out theme. got limo over his regular tint, had all his badges painted black, hes getting black wheels, black billet grille etc. we are kinda having a back and forth friendly brotherly "my truck is gonna be better than yours" contest. lol. hes pissed i got my drop on before he did his. LOL

here are some recent pics with the precision billet grilles in, the limo tint over the factory tinted glass and the tint on the front two windows from the dealership, the flowmaster 40 series muffler with turn downs so its not visible, and the mirror reflector replacements.
