OK from the older trucks you just get underneath and adjust the cable under the drivers side. The cable is there but where is the adjustment? I have a 2010 supercrew. Any help would be appreciated.

Just curious as to why you would need to have the ebrake adjusted already. I don't how or even if it can be adjusted though.

I thought it was funny too why I had to push the ebrake down about 3/4 of the way down so I thought I would try to adjust it. But, you are right, I shouldnt have to. And I noticed that even when i am on small hills and I push down hard on the ebrake it still doesnt grab very good and still will put the transmission in a bind which is something you dont want to do.

Yes, it only has 6k miles on it but I thought I would try and adjust it and if that didnt work, take it in. But, even after the warranty runs out its nice to know how to adjust it.

They adjust just like any other drum brake. With the star wheel.

where there is usually an adjustment, there is just a connector. I will just have to take it to the dealership I guess.

It is adjusted just like drum brakes. At the back of the brake will be either an opening or an opening with a rubber plug so you can use a brake adjusting tool (or screwdriver) to move the star wheel to loosen or tighten the brakes. Has nothing whatsoever to do with the cable. It has been that setup since at least 04.

I know what you are saying and I apprecaite that but I dont have drums in the rear. Those adjusters are within the drum and you take off the rubber and use a flat head to move them but thats not what I have. I have rotors in the rear. Dang dealerships dont like having the techs show you how to do things.

Whether you know it or not, you do have drums in back for e-brakes. Only the main brake is disk. The rear disk looks like a hat with the center section being a small drum brake.

You do not need to remove the wheel to see the adjustment slot. Just crawl under. It will be below the axle and viewable.
