Hey guys i was really going over the new truck today and found there is no splash guards(inner fenders) on the new truck . is it supposed to be there and mine got missed or has ford omitted them. My 2004 f150 had them.

No there aren't any splash guards on the inner front fenders. Yes this allows some splashing into the engine compartment. There may be aftermarket ones available at this point but I don't believe so.

 

I think I read somewhere they were ommitted to aide in cooling with the electric fans...

 

What about rears?

 

I've never seen rears on any of my Fords as I recall... I know Dodge used them and a lot of guys say they trap mud and grime, causing more problems than they were intended to stop.

 

My 05 F250 didn't have them, the 06-07 F250 did.. All my 99-03 trucks had them.

 

I don't think our trucks need them.
