FX2 Grille on my FX4

Okay, a sheet of ice off the top of a semi made it necessary for me to replace my Grille, Condenser and Trans Cooler. I decided (at the suggestion of someone here) to go with the FX2 Grille.
I think it’s a big improvement from the stock grille that came on it. A funny coincidence though is that it is not black, it is painted dark gray but it matches the lower paint on my truck perfectly!!!!
Problem, I ordered HD lights and now I’m thinking maybe I should have went with the FX2 heads because I believe they are dark gray trimmed instead of black, tails too!!!

What do you think?

Looks Good - I thought it would look better than the original Grille.

did it come painted?

yes, that's an awesome setup and the FX2 grey heads and tails would look awesome with your lower two-tone grey paint job, too bad you ordered the black ones.

My old FX4 was two-tone as well and I added the black Harley heads and tails on that and it looked good too, but I would have bought the grey heads instead but they weren't out yet in back in 05 when I bought the other lights.

Do you happen to have a part number and cost? I have been thinking about the FX2 grille ever since they came out with pictures, and I have the exact same color as you.

Your truck looks great with the new grille on it.

Maybe there would be someone willing to either purchase the Harley lights or work a deal to have them order the Fx2 lights and trade with them.

HaHa Nice try, I like mine, they look way better than the chrome trim ones. They match my grill and steps.
