Late thanks for the amazing write up , helped me decide on what hardware to buy as I have been out of the car audio game for half a decade. As for installing, as soon as I removed the bolt behind the handle, the stupid retainer clip fell inside the door. Spent an hour finding it and fishing it out after removing the door panel. After I had it back in my hands, it became apparent to me that I am now officially too old for this ****, and gave up lol.

sub

I'm about to jump into this. I will probably opt into a 5 channel rather than 2 amps.

Where do you get the input for the sub? Do you just split the rear output from the metra harness into 2 channels for your rear components and another channel for your sub?

thank you for taking the time to write this up, i am having some trouble following the harness wiring you did. is the first pic the stock harness? also how do you connect to the audio processor?
