It could be easier then that, the raptor can lock in the diff in 2wd mode.

Might be as easy as putting a Raptor 4WD switch in

or might be alot easier to do, jus modding the switch a little. kinda like the my bodystyle f150s an modding the light switch so fogs would work with parking an auto modes

Hahah the reason why they didnt have the ford in that commertial is because the gmcrap wouldve gotten pulled.

9.75"... The same size as a Dana 60. The front diff I believe is an 8.8", though I could be wrong... I know that is what they put in the 97-03's.

Sounds like you should have ponnied up for a Raptor! You can disable TC, locked in 2hi, all the fun stuff! Have your cake and eat it too!

Just wanted to clarify that Ford was not the first to use an E-locker in their half-tons. Nissan and Toyota have offered it (and still do) in their half-tons long before Ford did.

Would have been nice info to know when I purchased the truck... But ordered in back in December 08. Got it in Feb 09. Plus, at the time, my dealer said you could 100% turn it off if you wanted... guess he didnt know his *****.
