Still no 5100's or coilovers out for our 09-10's except KING

Anyone pull the trigger on some King coilovers? I spoke to King and they said they barely give any lift at all.

I am waiting for someone like Fox, Camburg etc. to come out with a UCA coilover kit that allows lift without compromising some angles. Hopefully something soon I am sick of being back at stock height in front ever since I removed my 2" AS spacers that gave me terrible problems.

What kind of problems did the spacers give you?

My UCA's were hitting my coils on any dips, turns, bumps causing my traction control to initiate. It was very annoying. I posted a thread with pics.

True. But I'm looking to not have any more lift in my rear with a full lift kit. I just want 2-3" in the front with no problems.

I'm confused.. You want to level the truck or you are lifted and want more lift? either way its tough to avoid some kind of rubbing/ hitting of the uca on the coil. Mine does both if the conditions are right.

Yea I am just lookin to leveling it out and want to go the best route. I tried the spacers and that was terrible. I couldn't go onto an onramp to the freeway without the traction control coming on and forcing me to stear straight instead of turning.

I am guessing Camburg will eventually make a coilover+UCA for the new models. Probably will be a good choice.

if they hit the coil with a 2inch leveling kit they will also hit with any other 2 inch lift, bilsteins ect..the only way around this would be to install a coilover with a spring that is smaller in diameter like the ones posted above.

Rancho has a kit out now. I ordered the offset 2.5" AS kit. I've talked to a few people with 09s and the offset kit that haven't had any issues.

Yea that is what I am thinking.. I plan to upgrade the UCA's to eliminate this issue.

I really don't want to go spacer especially since I already had such problems with only 2" AS kit. They said that it was offset but it didn't look too offset.

Anybody have a picture of the spacer prior to install showing the offset?

Rancho has a kit just like the 5100 from Bilstein - not a spacer.

I couldn't find much about these other than the price (~$200/shock). Their site is pretty slim on details/installation instructions, etc.

http://www.gorancho.com/products/shocks/quicklift.php

On a side note, I emailed both King and Pro Comp seeing if they are planning on offering a leveling shock.

I was wondering if you offer adjustable shocks/coilovers that can be used as a front leveling solution for the 2009 F-150 (4wd)
The response I got from King was:

The 09 f-150 will be release in 2 weeks and you can get 0-2.5 lift
Sounded pretty intelligent for a guy whose e-mail signature says "VP - Operations & Sales"...

From what I could tell the Pro Comp ones referenced earlier in this thread are for already-lifted trucks, not for stock trucks looking for a front level. Sure enough, they replied:

We do have plans for just that kind of product due for release later this year or early next year.
