Bought the XLT Supercab but have always owned supercrews. I think I am going back to get the supercrew? Get a nicer ride with the longer wheelbase and miss the 4 doors. Had lots of tranny problems also and a crap load of wind noise from the front windshield. I think I got a Friday made truck. Been back to the dealer 3 times in the last 2 months I have owned it.....still love the Fords though.....just getting bad service!

Official announcement: the FX4's have tied for the lead! 09 FX4 Oxford White with luxury package. Love the 5.4 and 3.73 gears. FX4 owners, take it into 4L and pull the **** to lock the rear diff. Leave those XLT's behind in the mud!

Lariat 4x4 Super Crew in Stone Green. Got every option. Didn't like the colors of the Platinum's that I could choose from and with kids, I feared the King Ranch leather.
I think the Lariat is the best all around value for features, luxury and looks.

'09 FX4 bought it used but with only 2100 miles on it so not very used. It was the color I wanted (Blue Flame) and equipped with more stuff than I needed but for the price; I couldn't pass it up over a newsed lariat demo I was looking at.

Bought the 2009 f150 xl cause it was the only one left at any of the dealers with an 8ft bed and cause It was much more affordable. But I just went out and bought a lariat chrome grille to put on the front. Looks good to me. Just have to do something about that upper bumper now!
