Bought Black FX4 Flareside in July. Much improvement from my 97.

 

New Platinum here. Coming from my GMC SLT crew cab which was a great, issue free truck, I am just really digging the next level of luxury I have in this Ford. The looks are off the hook and the space in the back for the kids is huge. I'm lovin it so far.

 

FX2 4.6L 3V 3.55 Limited Slip

Took delivery last week. First domestic since 1995 and I'm liking it.

I guess the FX2 gets no love. Hell they don't even have the FX2 on the Ford website...what the heck??? Can I get a FX2 as an option on the poll so I can be the sole owner of one?

Nice Platinum, I just bought a 2010 this past weekend with the 6.5 ft bed. Did you buy the mud flaps painted or did you have them painted?

Why don't we have a 2010 poll like this? I know a lot of 2010 owners are voting even though it's a 2009 poll, but some 2010 models aren't options in this poll (i.e. FX2 and Harley Davidson). While I don't personally have one of those models (I have a Lariat), it would be nice for 2010 to have it's own poll. Just a thought

 

I had no preconceptions when I started. Just "must-haves" and optionals:
Super cab, 3V 4.6, Trac-Lok 3.55, trailer tow, preferred equip, Sync & white where "musts". This meant an XLT. Compromised on the step tailgate and the remote starter.
All-in-all pretty happy with it. Sorta wish my Sync supported navigation, take a load off my phone. Oh well!
