In fact i have been in snow and rain and the Hid's are huge difference from the Silverstars. Especially around my area most of the local roads arent lit very well and they light the road and signage very nicely!!

Any problems with oncoming drivers signaling you?

What percentage improvement did the new HID conversion give you? It looks pretty close to stock.

Thanks

Steve

The alignment as far as i can tell is the same as stock. no flashes get from oncoming drivers when coming up behind ppl they get out of the way. the light dispersion is wider field of view and i notice a better distance view compared to the silverstars plus a lot brighter

I was getting worried when you didn't post an update about the lights. Glad to hear that you like them, I ordered a set too based on your recommendation. Can't wait to put them in.

Thanks,

Eric

I got mine a couple days ago and installed them tonight. They are fantastic and very durable. I set up a table in front of the truck to do the change out and accidently knocked 2 of the 4 ballasts off the table onto the driveway and no damage. They look great, I will take some pictures and post them up soon. I got the 8000K because they didn't have both sets in 6000K and I have to tell you that I feel they are very WHITE, I see no blue tint in my opinion.

eettare1 what info do you have about the lights and virginia inspctions. reason i ask is because i was going to purchase some 3 months ago but the person selling them warned me that virignia state inspections would require me to remove them on every inspection. Do you have a link to the site you purchased them. Would like to speak to another company about them now few more people got them in virginia. also are these the bi xenons or just low beam?? Are they the cheap china ballasts?

Thanks. The same brand as listed on page 1 of this thread and the cost was the same. I don't know if they are legal in VA or not. We shall see what happens, so far so good for 1 week. I still have the old bulbs, if I don't get hassled by the police, I won't mind reinstalling for an inspection. They only seem a little brighter than factory HID's I had in another vehicle.
